FROM THE BAND.

The band's name, Eleos (Ell eh ohs), is the Greek term for "mercy".  This is the term Jesus uses in Matthew 9:13 (and many other times) when He says "I will have mercy" and explains that He has come to call sinners to repentance.  It is defined as "having mercy for those who are in trouble, even if the trouble is their own fault."

Doesn't that sum up the human condition!?  We are in trouble of our own making but praise God we have a savior calling us to repentance and showing mercy on us!  And therein lies our desire:  to help point the non-believer to a saving faith in Jesus and to help the believer lift his/her hands in heartfelt praise through music!

Our group is made up of musicians and singers who love Jesus and want to see people lift His name in praise. We love what we do and thank God for each opportunity He brings our way.  Our heart and passion is poured into each song we sing and play.  Whether sombre and reflective or something to get the youth excited in praise, we give Him our best in each song.
